The speaker will be Don A. Bukstein, M.D.
The title of his presentation will be: "Measuring FeNO in the Office - Are We Just Wasting Our Breath?"
Don is a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics and Family Practice at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is the former Director of Allergy and Asthma Research at Dean Health System in Madison Wisconsin. He is the co-founder of www.healthyairways.com and the PBL Institute.
Don is board-certified in allergy/immunology, pediatric pulmonology and pediatrics. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas Southwestern. He completed an allergy/immunology fellowship at National Jewish and a pediatric pulmonary fellowship at the University of Colorado.
Don has vast experience as a clinical investigator serving as P.I. on more than 50 clinical trials focusing on allergic disease, asthma, apnea, sinusitis and outcomes research. His research has been sponsored by the NIH, NIAD, industry and private foundations and charities. He has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the AAAAI, ACAAI and the ATS.
