GPAAIS will be conducting its next educational event on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The event will consist of a reception followed by a presentation and dinner. The event will take place at Morton's The Steakhouse which is located at 625 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 downtown. The phone number is (412) 261-7141 and the website is http://mortons.com.

The presentation will be conducted by Dennis K. Ledford, MD. Dr. Ledford is a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics and the Ellsworth and Mabel Simmons Professor of Allergy & Immunology in the Division of Allergy & Immunology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. He also completed his residency in internal medicine and served as Chief Resident in Memphis. He completed a fellowship in clinical immunology and rheumatology at New York University and a fellowship in clinical allergy and immunology at the University of South Florida. 

Dr. Ledford will deliver a presentation entitled: "Treating Exacerbations in Moderate to Severe Persistent Allergic Asthma."

All members are encouraged to attend the reception, presentation and dinner. Associate members are encouraged to attend the reception.

The reception will take place from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The presentation and dinner will occur from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
