GPAAIS will be conducting its next educational event on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM.

The event will consist of a reception followed by a presentation and dinner. The event will take place at Morton's The Steakhouse which is located at 625 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 downtown. The phone number is (412) 261-7141 and the website is http://mortons.com.

The presentation will be conducted by Mario Castro, MD, MPH. Dr. Castro is a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Kansas City. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic and a pulmonary and critical care fellowship also at the Mayo clinic. He has a master's degree in public health from the St. Louis University School of Public Health. He is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine. 

Dr. Castro will deliver a presentation entitled: A Clinical Discussion on Severe Eosinophilic Asthma and its Management.

All members are encouraged to attend the reception, presentation and dinner. Associate members are encouraged to attend the reception.

The reception will take place from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The presentation and dinner will occur from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
